Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, and how to have it removed.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This site is run by me, Saverio Tonon, in London, UK. I’m responsible for any personal data it collects. If you have a question or want something removed, send me a message with the contact form.
The short version: I collect as little as possible, I never sell it, and nothing is used for advertising.
Analytics (no cookies)
To see how many people visit and which pages they read, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device, and doesn’t track you across sites or from one visit to the next. It only produces totals, such as page views, the pages read, the site that sent visitors here, and visitors’ countries, browsers and device types. Your IP address is used to work out the country and isn’t stored. Cloudflare processes this on my behalf, may do so outside the UK, and doesn’t use it for advertising. You can read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
If you’d rather not be counted, a content blocker such as uBlock Origin or Safari’s content blockers will stop it, and the site works exactly the same.
The site uses no cookies. It stores one small preference in your browser, which never leaves your device: the light or dark theme, if you pick one with the toggle (forgotten when you close the tab).
Newsletter
If you subscribe, I store your email address, whether you’ve confirmed it, and when you subscribed, confirmed or unsubscribed. I use it only to send you the newsletter, and only after you’ve confirmed with the link in the first email. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted completely, send me a message with the contact form.
Contact form
Messages sent with the contact form (your name, email address and message) are delivered to my inbox. They aren’t stored on the website. I use them only to reply to you, and delete them when they’re no longer needed.
Spam protection
To stop the forms being abused, the site keeps a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address for 24 hours, then deletes it. It can’t be turned back into your IP address.
Where the data is kept
The site is hosted by Hostinger, which stores newsletter subscriptions and sends the site’s emails. Analytics data is held by Google.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. Send me a message with the contact form and I’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
